Revive Church News 

Hope for Haiti

Trinity Church has been partnering with United Christians International, Haiti for 12 years to send Christmas gift bags to children in Haiti. Each bag is filled with toys, clothing, food, toiletries, and a pamphlet on the Gospel in Haitian Creole and costs $75 to fill and ship each bag. If you are interested to help or would like more information, please contact Lynn Relyea (Lynn@Relyea.com) or Michelle Wilson (Michelle.Wilson@svtrinity.org)

More GLF Facilitators needed!

We’ve been growing so much that our current small groups which are designed for spiritual growth (GLF’s) are all nearly at full capacity, so we need more GLF’s. If we want this spiritual and quantitative growth to continue, we will need more GLF facilitators. So if you are an official member and willing to commit to becoming a GLF Facilitator, I will be running a GLF training, scheduled for Sat Aug 24, 9am. Lunch is included! Sign up by Aug 18th. 8/18 Dating, Marriage, & Parenting Townhall

If you’re 18 or older, we want to hear your questions and thoughts about those important topics. Anyone can come, members, attendees, visitors. We're planning to offer more resources and content on these topics, and as we plan for that, we want to hear from you! So everyone age 18 and up, please come to the Townhall ready to share. 8/24 Young Adults: Beach Day

There’s going to be a beach bonfire on Saturday, 8/24 from 2-10PM so bring your sports equipment, picnic blankets, camping chairs, and snacks! The goal is to leave at 2pm and be at the beach by 3pm. Dinner will be provided so please sign up on the church center app or website if you would like to attend to provide us with a head count for food and to figure out rides for everyone.

8/25 Kids Club events

There will be a prayer walk at Bishop Elementary School on Sunday August 25th at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to come out and pray together for the school and our church’s Gospel ministry there. For info contact Rachel Murata (rachel.murata@gmail.com)

8/25 Graduation Ceremony

We’re excited to celebrate 4 children graduating from Toddler Ministry (Caleb Yang, Joey Tam, Kai Chung, Ransom Lee), 3 children graduating from Children’s Ministry (Abigail Han, Luna Lee, Issac Hernandez), 4 children graduating from Middle School Ministry (Teo Moon, Jake Joseph, Jacob Kim, Sophia Serna) and 1 child graduating from High School Ministry (Kevin Rhee) on stage on 8/25! We’d appreciate your prayers, support, and love for these children and families as they enter into these new seasons! 8/31 Nicaragua Missions: BBQ Fundraiser

Scott Dixon is hosting a BBQ Fundraiser for the Nicaragua Missions. The mission trip was supposed to be in August but postponed due to another stroke.  Support his mission trip planned for a later time this year through prayers, volunteering for BBQ, or financial support,

9/15 GLF Fall Kickoff Dinner

Get yourself connected to the community of Christ! The Fall quarter of GLF will kickoff with a dinner provided by the church on Sunday 9/15! This will give you a chance to get acquainted with our various GLF’s and their meeting locations/days.

Revive Adult School: Membership Class

Starts on 8/11. Questions about REVIVE Church? Get answers in our informational Membership Class. Taking this class does not oblige you to become a member, so feel free to take this class simply to learn. 3-week class begins Sunday 8/11, 1:30-3pm here at the church campus. You can sign up by clicking here or on our website under “Resources/Classes”.

Volunteers for K-1st Class & Toddler Ministries

We’re looking for helpers and teachers for our K-1st and Toddler Ministries! Kindergarten-1st grade ministry is a new program that will start in August 2024. Children’s safety and training

In accordance with state regulations, the next step in our children’s safety is to provide sexual abuse awareness training. This is REQUIRED for ALL volunteers working with children. It is an online training provided by Ministry Safe. The link to access the training will be sent out by email Monday. Please look for an email with the subject of “Sexual Abuse Awareness Training”.
