John Har grew up in the South Bay where he was introduced to a Southern Baptist church and accepted Jesus in seventh grade.  Coincidentally, John met SooSang in high school, and they have been friends ever since.

 

John ventured off to Cornell University to pursue his degrees in electrical engineering. He returned to the Bay Area for his first job and has worked in tech for over 25 years in engineering and product management. He and his family joined Revive in 2009 when it was an English-speaking congregation of a Korean church.  John has led the finance team since 2011.

 

He is married to Gina, and they have three children: Jamie, Ryan, and Christopher. In his free time, John enjoys playing guitar, eating with family and friends, and dreaming of being on Shark Tank.
