Damon Moon

Elder

Damon grew up moving back and forth between the US and Korea before immigrating to the US for the third time to attend business school. He discovered his true identity in Jesus during a radical conversion experience on a weekend trip to the Bay Area in 2011.

He believes that the Gospel changes everything and that love is the answer to the most difficult problems we face.

At Revive, Damon is an elder overseeing Mission, Special Events, Facilities, and Fellowship. He enjoys raising up brothers through the Life-on-Life Missional Discipleship program.

Among the 7 ministry values at Revive, Nations is his favorite one. His missional heart for the next generation has led him to co-found an edtech startup that helps students build social capital. He teaches at San Jose State University as a part-time business school professor.

He lives in Santa Clara with his wife, Joy, and their two teenage children. In his free time, he likes to go mountain biking. He enjoys cooking Brazilian BBQ, with picanha being his favorite.
